Looking for a way to network with other school counseling professionals around Wisconsin?
Searching for information to support your school counseling needs?
The Wisconsin School Counselor Association is excited to announce the addition of "Wisconsin SCENE" to the American School Counselor Association discussion board, ASCA SCENE, located at www.schoolcounselor.org/SCENE. Wisconsin SCENE has the same format and tools as ASCA SCENE but will provide a way for Wisconsin school counseling professionals to ask questions, receive information, and share documents specific to our state school counseling curriculum and needs. This is a free service provided by ASCA and does not cost our organization anything to participate.
The benefits to you include the ability to:
- Set up a personal profile for others to connect with you
- Ask a question and receive responses from others in Wisconsin, emailed to your inbox if you choose
- Provide input on posted discussion topics
- Upload documents and information to the "File Cabinet" to share with others
- Print documents and information from the "File Cabinet" for your own school counseling needs
- Stay current with important school counselor-related events posted to the calendar on the site
- Post and reply to a blog (must request permission from the site administator, Kathleen Rakestraw, to do this)
If you have already registered as a member of ASCA SCENE, you will have access to Wisconsin SCENE under the "My Subgroups" tab on the ASCA SCENE homepage. If you have not registered for ASCA Scene, go to www.schoolcounselor.org/SCENE and register as a new user. You will then have access to Wisconsin SCENE under the "My Subgroups" tab.
