CONFERENCE Q & A

Q & A

Q. Why is there no lunch break on Thursday?

A. With up to 1400 people to feed, it works best when participants choose their own lunch time. We want to provide the maximum number of sectional choices, so we do not want to set aside a time when no sectionals are happening.

Q. Why aren’t hit sectionals repeated?

There is no way to determine which sectional will be popular and which may not.

Q. Can we receive a copy of the conference sectional program prior to the conference?

The conference sectional program is sent to the printer at the last possible moment and received back within a day or two of the conference’s beginning. Postage to send it to participants or printing another set to pass out at registration would cause a significant increase in conference fees. If you need sectional information to submit to your district please use the tentative list in this mailer or contact Denise Ocker at 262.248.1579 or email dowsca@wi.rr.com. (We try to post the conference sectionals on www.wscaweb.com two weeks before the conference).

Q. I need a copy of what will be offered for my district’s business office.

Photocopy this mailer and let them know you will provide further information after the conference or contact Denise Ocker at 262.248.1579 or e-mail dowsca@wi.rr.com for assistance.

Q. Why are we starting at 8:30 am on Thursday morning?

Previous evaluations have indicated a desire to have more breaks during the afternoon. By starting earlier we are able to offer as many sectional choices while expanding the break time.
