School Counselor of the Year
This award is meant to recognize individual school counselors who devote their careers to serving as advocates for Wisconsin students, addressing their academic, social-emotional, and career development. These individuals influence the school counseling profession through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration.
*The counselor nominated must be a member of WSCA to be eligible to win.*
Nomination Questions:
1) How has the counselor used data in their comprehensive school counseling program to provide equity and access to all students? Please be specific, provide data or examples.
2) How does the school counselor use advocacy, leadership, systemic change and collaboration to make a difference for all students? Please be specific and provide examples.
3) How are students different as a result of the school counseling program? Please be specific.
