Presentation Opportunities include half day and full day preconference workshops. WSCA pays one fee of $650 for a full-day presentation or $400 for a half-day presentation. A preconference workshop must draw at least 10 participants for it to be held. Speaker is responsible for cost and arrangement of travel and lodging. Additional details for making these arrangements are available at wscaweb.org.

Topics for your consideration may include but are not limited to resilience, trauma-informed schools, mindfulness, data and interventions, developmental guidance, consultation, and personal and professional development.

Criteria used for review and selection of program proposal will be based on timeliness of topic, interest in the topic, clarity of organization of the proposal form and geographic representation. Diverse and innovative programs are encouraged. Programs will be chosen that meet the needs of all levels of school counselors and other professionals and individuals interested in counseling.
