WSCA Scholarship and Professional Recognition Committee is looking for committee members. This committee is focused on recognizing school counselors and their supporters.
Who should get involved?
Anyone with a passion for celebrating school counselor contributions to the profession and stakeholders that support this work.
What can you expect to do as a member of the Scholarship and Professional Recognition committee?
The majority of the work falls between September through January. You can choose from several committee projects such as:
- Be a reader for the high school and graduate student scholarships
- Be a reader for the professional recognition awards
- Write press releases to recognize our scholarship and professional recognition award winners.
- Advertise our different professional recognition award opportunities through DPI email and social media.
When/where will committee meet?
Committee meetings and work will happen mainly online.
