2023-2024 Beginning Model Implementation Registration

Beginning Model Implementation will include three full days of professional development with coaching and feedback on program implementation between training dates.

This training helps school counselors to:

  • Review ASCA model
  • Effectively utilize data in a school counseling program
  • Develop program goals that align with standards
  • Select competencies that align with classroom lessons, small groups and activities addressing student developmental needs
  • Align with the school’s vision and mission
  • Develop school counseling program resources to complete WSCPAR

Learning Outcomes:

  • Transition to the ASCA model
  • Create school program goals that reflect the mindsets and behaviors
  • Create action plans to collect data on impact of school counseling program
  • Discover the importance of student competencies aligned with state standards
  • Create an annual agreement
  • Utilize the online ASCA Model portal

Your registration includes three books ($120.95 value): “ASCA National Model: A Framework for School Counseling Programs (4th edition)”, “ASCA National Model Implementation Guide: Foundation, Management and Accountability” and “ASCA National Model Implementation Guide: ASCA Student Standards.”
