WSCA Needs YOU!
Have you thought of presenting at the WSCA conference but been intimidated by the size?
Consider sharing your career and college programs at a WSCA Regional Career Summit!
Submissions are due by April 1, 2024. Reach out to WSCA if you have any questions.
The 2024 Regional Career Summit, sponsored by the Wisconsin School Counselor Association, will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024. We invite you to share your expertise with school counselors and educators who support career development with school-aged youth! Presenters will have 45 minutes to tell participants about the career and post-secondary planning services and programs developed in school districts, organizations, and/or companies. The summit aims to provide opportunities to network, collaborate, and grow regional connections.
In appreciation for the time and effort to present, WSCA will provide a complimentary career summit registration for up to three presenters. Each career summit location must draw a minimum number of participants to be held. Speakers are responsible for the cost and arrangement of travel.
The criteria for reviewing and selecting a proposal will be based on the timeliness of the topic, interest in the topic, clarity of organization of the proposal form, and geographic representation. Diverse and innovative programs are encouraged. Sectionals will be chosen to meet the needs of school counselors, other education professionals, and individuals interested in career development and post-secondary planning.
Note: Presentations encouraging purchasing books, materials, or services will not be accepted.
WSCA will supply the needed A/V equipment, but presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptops to present.
Complete the form below by April 1, 2024. We expect to announce the final selections by April 5, 2024.
