Begin your day in a general session with updates from DPI and school counseling hot topics. Then split into work teams to focus on data driven counseling. Choose from two options of focus:
Option One: WSCPAR (formerly SPARC-W) and SLOs
Learn how completing a Wisconsin School Counseling Program Accountability Report (WSCPAR) can help with writing SLOs, promoting your program, and utilizing data to show how your program is impacting students. Walk step by step through the data process and learn how to create impactful graphs, write SMART Goals (which can lead to SLOs), and apply for the WSCPAR Award.
Option Two: Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and RAMP
Utilize the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) process to take your comprehensive school counseling program to the next level! You don’t have to be ready to apply to benefit from this process. This comprehensive approach will help you identify gaps and strengths in your program, while using data to drive your decision making.
This Summer Leadership Academy offers something for everyone – all levels – to improve your skills and your school counseling program.
